S K I I N
The Skiin Project is a performance project that examines contemporary society's obsession with image and appearance, intensifying questions about self, identity and belonging. There are two projects currently being developed, a solo film, Red Bird and a dance-film, Let There Be Fire.
The Skiin Project has been developed as a response of creator Henry McGrath's relationship to his own skin as a sufferer of eczema. This varied and volatile journey since being diagnosed as a young boy, is the motivation and inspiration for the project.
